Navigating the British education system is not easy, and we appreciate the importance of making the best decision that suits both yourself and your child, and enables them to achieve their potential.
Our consultants have multiple years of experience of providing direction to parents about a wide range of issues and topics, including school and university choices, as well as personal development and employability to aid your child’s education.
Our consultancy packages are available for students aged 6+, and work with families based both in the UK and abroad, including to help overseas students to maintain their ‘Home Status’ and save thousands of pounds in fees.
We work in partnership with educational psychologists which enable us to tailor our services to each unique child. We ensure that we know the child, and understand fully what works for them, and how we can make sure that they reach their potential.

This service is best suited for families and students who are finding their educational journey, or a part of it, challenging for whatever reason. Whether it’s difficulty with a certain subject, or problems with your school setting, we can assist and provide support.

If you’re concerned about your child’s personal development and wellbeing, for a variety of reasons, we can support your child directly with one of our sessions.
These sessions are for students who are experiencing personal difficulties and would benefit from having an impartial person to speak to.

Our school reports are a popular option for families who are choosing which school would best suit their children.
We work with families choosing their child’s primary school, to secondary school and college, as well as those relocating to/from overseas.

These sessions are designed for parents of children who are struggling with their mental health and would like some independent advice on the best steps to support their children. Working with highly trained individuals, we are able to provide a variety of counselling and therapeutic services for students, as well as consultancy and support for parents.

What does a consultancy session look like?
A consultancy session is usually between parents and/or students, depending on the age and maturity of the student. We are able to book in a half-days, or hour-long sessions with one of our highly trained consultants, and they will guide you through the best choices for your child.
What is educational consultancy?
Educational consultancy is about providing you with the best options for your individual child in terms of their educational development. All children are unique, and have different abilities and interests. We therefore set each student different goals and suggest different options which will suit them and enable them to reach their potential.
How is consultancy different to mentorship?
Educational consultancy is a much more in-depth look at your child’s educational journey and what goals would suit them best, whereas with mentorship, the goals have already been set and it’s helping them to achieve their set objectives.
How is consultancy different to pathway planning?
Pathway planning is specific to the educational establishments and choices which would best suit your child, whereas consultancy is more about your child’s personal goals and how we can guide them to success.
Will you recommend educational consultancy to us if it’s required?
At Tayberry, we are proud of our integrity, and will only suggest services if they are essential for you or your family. If we feel that a consultancy session/s is necessary, we will suggest this to you privately.
How many consultancy sessions will we need?
Each situation is different, and more complex matters may need more consultancy sessions than more simple matters. We will advise when you book as to how many sessions you will need, and should you require more, we will provide you with an estimate of costs.
